We had a wee visit to the Balcony Cafe for lunch. It was our third time on that place from since we discovered it in 14th February this year. We find it relaxing and cozy because there isn't much people coming and going. We can eat to our hearts' content without being bothered with too much chatters around so it just feels blissful being there.
We decided to order a set which included a platter of clubhouse which the husband likes quite so much and a mixed platter which had Kimbap, mini-shanghai, mini-dumplings and oh well, sauce, lol! Add to that a pitcher of blueberry juice which we opted against pineapple. There were only two drink options for that food set.
The FarmBoy and I were talking about the university across the balcony of how its garden and buildings badly needed maintenance when a young lady on another table spilled her newly-served hot coffee which unfortunately splashed all over her crouch and made her scream and jump. It must be really hot and she was wearing a tightly-fitted jeans. One of the servers were quick to give her a towel and suggested her to go to the washroom which she did. It took her a while to come back, we were glad she was okay.
Anyway, our meal was served which we enjoyed like we were just eating at home. I guess what makes us keep going back to that place is the homey feeling it has. Perhaps next time, we should try their other dishes too.
