Saying 'hello' to a lovely Monday in DD. It feels like we've been away for weeks, even though we've only been in the other town for 3 days. It seems we have become so attached to this place more than we can admit馃榿

Anyway, I came across a profoundly grounding phrase yesterday evening that put me in a reflective mode while on the road. It said:

Blessings are never delivered to the wrong address. They always find whom they were meant for.

These are comprehensible, no? The message is right there. At its core, it says what's genuinely meant for us always finds its way. It would never miss us. It might feel like it's never coming, but we should trust in the timing and find peace in the waiting.

It invites us to reframe our perspectives on missed opportunities, past wrongs, or closed doors. They could be life's way of redirecting us to where we are meant to be. It reminded me of something I heard a long while ago鈥攁n ended relationship could be life's way of saying, "Pssst, you are in the wrong house. Move!"

It also encourages us to stop exhausting ourselves from chasing or forcing things to happen. Instead, focus our energy on growth, becoming the person ready to receive and sustain the blessings when they arrive. As they say, life won't give us bigger things if we aren't prepared to receive them.

The phrase also beckons us to cease comparing ourselves. Others getting ahead doesn't mean they have taken everything and nothing left for us. What's meant for them is theirs. What's meant for us is ours.

I had a convo with one of my cousins who had gone through several disappointments and heartbreaks from adopting a child. She stopped looking and went on with life. Recently, she got a surprise: dressed as a little 3-year-old girl, she now calls her daughter.

Yeah, what is meant for us always finds us.
