We left BC early for the wedding, and he stayed mostly curled up in his car seat (bed) for the whole ride (3.75 hours), probably because the windows were closed, as it was breezy and cold that morning.

We arrived at the church (and school) grounds, and he instinctively knew it was our destination; he kept jumping, wanting to get out. So I took him around St. Therese's statue, placing him on the 2-foot-high ledge so he could get a feel for the place without chasing people.

He walked to and fro, sniffing this or that, looking around and staring whenever someone passed by. Some kids approached us, wanting to get closer and touch him, but I warned them he might bite, so they took a few steps back and just watched, laughing whenever he moved. "He is very small, and he's even wearing a shirt!" one of them observed.

He was scared to jump off such a height, although at one point he seemed to be calculating if he could get down.

The ceremony was about to start, with the procession already in place, so I carried him in my arms. Playtime is over, LilGuy. We stayed outside because we didn't know if the church was pet-friendly. The grounds of St. Michael Parish and St. Therese School are quite vast. We had a lot of space to move around.

An old snapshot of the place by Google Maps. No copyright infringement intended.

Anyway, the ceremony was finished around midday, and we were the last ones to leave because we waited for other guests who took the ride with us to the reception (the couple's place).

It was scorching hot when we arrived at the venue. The LilGuy and I took shelter under the shade of a flowering shrub while the husband went to find a good spot for us before watwat (food) was served.

However, the LilGuy couldn't breathe easy in the extreme heat, so we walked back to where we parked, and a homeowner offered us chairs beside her house. An hour or so later, I got to capture some captivating display of nature's artwork on our ride's body.

We left afterward and headed to my sister's place.

To avoid traffic, we took a detour, passing through a familiar sight鈥攔ows of mulched plots, expansive mini-greenhouses of the Strawberry Farm in La Trinidad.

We planned to spend the night away, but after taking care of our errand, we changed our minds. "Dada, let's go home," the LilGuy seems to be saying here while the hubby stood by the door.

So yep, after a bit of time deciding, we took the winding road and arrived home (BC) safely around 9 pm. We had fun, even though it was a whirlwind of a drive.馃槉
