I journeyed into the Valley of the Fallen to investigate a strange lure drawing machines. After leaving Ivvira and the injured Tenakth behind, I passed collapsing bridges and treacherous cliffs. Examining a downed machine revealed evidence of Ivvira's bow work, leading me closer to uncovering the mysterious lure.
I had to venture deep into the Valley of the Fallen, leaving Ivvira behind with the injured Tenakth warrior. They needed time to rest, recover, and make the long journey back to their camp.
Something unusual was drawing machines into the valley, acting as a powerful lure that pulled hostile steel toward the area like a beacon. I needed to check around and figure out exactly what was attracting these machines before things got completely out of hand.
I had to pass two hanging bridges on my way hoping the structures would hold my weight. Step by step, I carefully made my way across. Fortunately, the bridges held up, and I reached the other side without plunging into the fall below.
With the bridge behind me, the path scaled upward. I realized I had to climb the massive trees dotting the landscape. High above the ground, I spotted handholds and climbing pegs attached directly to the thick trunks, offering a way forward.
Climbing higher, I took a quick look around. The relentless vertical ascent and treacherous footings truly made this journey feel like a trial designed to break anyone attempting it.
Before pushing further toward my primary objective, I spotted a few supply crates tucked away near a ledge. I took a brief detour to search the cache, gathering valuable materials and supplies that would undoubtedly prove useful for whatever waited ahead.
The path only grew more dangerous from there. At one point, a section of a broken bridge gave way beneath me, and I barely managed to hold on. For a terrifying second, I genuinely thought I wouldn't make it, but I made it just fine.
I needed to locate the waterfall and the cliffs south of the Horus. Ivvira had warned me that deadly machines were gathering near those landmarks. As I approached ahead, I spotted the metallic glint of a fallen machine lying motionlessly on the ground.
The machine was covered in deep punctures and packed with arrows, clearly taken down by a skilled archer. It became obvious that Ivvira had taken this machine down herself while protecting and helping the injured Tenakth escape.
