I flew my Sunwing across varied landscapes to meet Sylens at Tilda's mansion. Ignoring hostile machines along the way, I learned that 13 Zeniths landed on Earth, but only 12 corpses were found. Sylens identified the survivor as aerospace magnate Walter Londra, and dispatched Aloy to the volcanic Burning Shores of Los Angeles.
Mounted on my Sunwing, I soared high above the landscape, setting a direct course toward Tilda's mansion to meet with Sylens. The morning sun lit up the horizon, painting the sky with brilliant colors as I took in the view from above.
Tilting my flight path to appreciate the terrain below, I flew straight past an active Dreadwing site without drawing the machine's aggression.
Gliding further into uncharted territory, Aloy called out a Rockbreaker lurking near a collapsed bridge structure that used to connect to a mountain tunnel.
The machine burst from the dirt and attempted to launch a surprise attack, but I banked hard to evade the strike and kept flying, determined to avoid unnecessary skirmishes along the way.
As I flew, I passed the familiar outline of the Stillstands Tallneck patrolling its eternal route below, still marching along the path I had overrode long ago.
Though fast traveling directly to the mansion was an option, flying across the open world allowed me to revisit regions I had previously helped.
I passed over the glowing desert settlement where we had restored power and lights, gliding low over a hostile Tremortusk territory.
The massive machine roared and flared in anger as my mount shadowed the sands, but I maintained my altitude and left it behind.
The clear skies made for smooth travel, offering a sharp contrast to the blinding sandstorms that had obscured my vision during earlier trips through the desert.
Transitioning from the dry sands, the landscape shifted dramatically into dense vegetation that resembled the Amazon forest.
I initially mistook the massive Zenith base for Tilda's estate, but quickly corrected my course toward the correct coordinates nearby.
Flying low over a beach, I passed a Widemaw site where three massive amphibious machines wandered peacefully along the shoreline without paying any attention to my mount.
Spotting the sleek architecture of Tilda's mansion nestled close to the main Zenith base, I searched for a perch point on the upper balcony. Unable to land the mount directly onto the narrow ledge, I leapt off the Sunwing mid-air and grappled onto the terrace.
I found Sylens standing near the railing, gazing out toward the Zenith base while analyzing data on his Focus. As I approached, he deactivated his device and referenced Tilda's attempt to manipulate Aloy with promises of saving the planet together.
Aloy quickly brushed off his provocation, pointing out that if Sylens truly believed Earth had no future against Nemesis, he wouldn't still be standing here planning their next move.
Sylens revealed a critical discovery made while scanning the ruins of the Zenith base. Although thirteen Zeniths had descended to Earth from space, their records only accounted for twelve corpses.
The thirteenth survivor was Walter Londra, a 21st-century aerospace magnate and corporate elite whose wealth and ambition made him far too dangerous to leave unchecked.
When asked where to begin the search, Sylens pointed to a volatile region far to the south, wracked by severe tectonic shifts and volcanic eruptions. Known a thousand years ago as Los Angeles, the ruin was now called the Burning Shores.
With the coordinates uploaded to my Focus, I accepted the mission to track down the rogue Zenith in the southern wilds.
The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.
SEE YOU.
