The thing is, I don't have a topic today.
It still feels so strange to see that at 7 am it's still night. The rational mind understands, but the emotional mind is used to having clarity before 6. Then, when the process is reversed, it's not bothered. Rather, it's happy to feel the sun until nearly 9 pm.
Surely there are scientific studies related to behavior in different climates and how they are determinants of behavior and culture.
I like to know the feelings of those who are night owls, who, unlike me, have been conditioned to get up early for years, even without an early obligation or immediate purpose.
Reading and writing came to the rescue in those early hours when I couldn't do anything else without waking others up. I once let myself get carried away and started sawing before dawn, and although it's not as loud as hammering or drilling, the protests and complaints soon followed.
This behavior is surely ingrained from years of habit, but it hasn't been a necessity for so long that I suspect it has an intrinsic or genetic component, even if I didn't pass it on to my offspring.
I remember how, even in my early childhood, I preferred to study at dawn for an exam rather than the night before, as some of my classmates did.
"A weirdo," they'll say without hesitation, and sometimes I look at myself and think so too, but it's not something that keeps me up at night. It goes away on its own as soon as I've slept enough. Sometimes 5 or 6 hours, and other times 8, very rarely more.
Now that it's 9 o'clock, I'm going to leave you to find something else to do, and if it turns out to be something positive, I'll tell you tomorrow, and if not, well, I won't.
This image is my own work and property. It may be unpleasant for some people, but it doesn't involve any animals, and if you want to know what it is, just ask.
I write in Spanish, the only language I understand well enough, and to provide an English version, I use Google Translate. I also use it to read and comment on posts from those who contact me.
