To be honest, this wasn't at all the choice I thought I'd end up making. Besides, I'm not a fan of falsetto at all—and certainly not my own attempts at it. I remember that when a friend of mine did it, people would tell her it wasn't really falsetto, but just her high-pitched voice. But hey, I don't know anything about music, so I guess I just have to take their word for it.
Hi everyone in the HIVE OPEN MIC community It’s
@eudarcabello here, and this time I’m participating in Week 332, titled Synergy. I didn’t want to leave this post until the last minute—I always do my best to post on time each week, and this time I tried harder than ever, but it still happened. I hope to stay on schedule from now on—I really do. The crazy thing is that I finally finished my grad school exams—they were really driving me nuts—even though I’m already out of the program because I failed one of the courses. As for my thesis, I’m still being a bit lazy about it, though it’s actually a project for my current job. So even though I’m no longer in the Marine Biology grad program, its shadow still haunts me. Let’s hope it’s over soon so I can see if another opportunity for grad school comes up. The song I chose was a big hit last decade; the lyrics are short—to be honest, I never really took the time to learn them all the way—but it wasn’t until now, when I read them, that I realized they weren’t that complicated. It was super popular thanks to the voices of Luis Fonsi, David Bisbal, Noel Schajris, and Alex Syntek, and it’s titled “Here I am”. I didn’t want to keep racking my brain to see if another song would come to mind; I was happy with how my choice turned out for this theme. I definitely needed to do this—to fill myself with good vibes for the new week—so it seemed like the right thing to do.

I think I'm starting to catch a cold—maybe because of the raindrops that have fallen. Let's hope it calms down. I know that with the super child, it should be a blessing, but in the capital, it's caused a disaster with flooding and sewage overflows.
The truth is, I tried my hand at music, but I never really understood it—neither the theory nor the practice. The only thing is that as a kid, I used to sing in the high notes a lot. I grew up, my voice changed, and I never managed to find a voice that others liked. For a while, I was in a choir with the baritones, and I think I liked being there, but based on my speaking voice and what experts say, I’m a tenor—it’s just that when I try to hit the high notes, I end up shouting. Most of the time it doesn’t work out, though other times people say it sounds good. The thing is, I’d rather shout than make failed attempts at falsetto.
I try to let all the things in my life flow, I might try to force everything a little bit, like with the Marine Biology postgraduate course or trying to be constant in Hive, but whatever ends up turning out, I know I will know how to accept it. Grateful for all the good things that have happened to me and the bad things that I have gotten rid of, for your support, I hope you also visit my other posts, good luck with your content and see you next week.
