If I wanted to choose a song by this duo, in the end I think other songs might be a better fit for the theme, but I also think this particular song works well, depending on the context you want to give it.
Hello wonderful people of the HIVE OPEN MIC community It’s
@eudarcabello here, and this time I’m participating in Week 339, titled The Bad Times Will Pass. I didn’t want to leave this post until the last minute—I always do my best to post on time each week, but this time I didn’t make it. I hope to stay on schedule from now on; I know I tend to say this a lot, but I’m truly sorry. I’m still working hard to be a good teacher, even though I knew I didn’t like the idea of ending up as a teacher—and the students don’t make it easy for me either. Still, I won’t lose hope that I’ll end up enjoying it and doing a great job. I find the song I chose to be incredibly liberating; its lyrics are among the most cathartic—in my opinion, of course—popularized by this Spanish-language ballad duo. It’s one of those songs that seems timeless, almost unchanged. I think I’ve got these lyrics etched in my head—they’re not that complicated. Maybe next time I’ll approach it differently in terms of vocal dynamics. I know this version I tried doesn’t have that many fans. I love that even though they might have more current songs or collaborations, they’ve never compromised their style. I’m sure that’s why their longtime fans always stand by them. It’s true that they keep us guessing about whether they’re still together or have split up, but they’re still one of the most unmistakable voices of the past decades—I’m talking about Sin Banderas. Now it’s time to talk about the title track, “that I cry”. I didn’t want to keep racking my brain to see if another song would come to mind; I’m satisfied with how my choice turned out for this theme. Without a doubt, I needed to write this song to release some tension, so it seemed like the right thing to do.

Even though I don't do it anymore—which is why I feel like I have no soul—the truth is that crying helps release all the bad things that happen to you, and then you end up feeling recharged and able to resolve whatever was bothering you.
To be honest, I’m kind of happy—this whole teaching thing is really helping me gain confidence, especially after the student I had the least confidence in did great on his first tests. I really hope these lessons stick with them and help me make a good impression on future teachers. Still, none of this is enough to make me cry just yet—we’ll see if I have a soft spot after all. It’s just that teachers who’ve already taught them tell me it’s unlikely they’ll retain much of what they learned.
I try to let all the things in my life flow, I might try to force everything a little bit, like with the Marine Biology postgraduate course or trying to be constant in Hive, but whatever ends up turning out, I know I will know how to accept it. Grateful for all the good things that have happened to me and the bad things that I have gotten rid of, for your support, I hope you also visit my other posts, good luck with your content and see you next week.
