Hello, friends especially foodies!

Last Saturday after we had our tasty lunch and got our hair cut, before going home we wanted to go the fruit supermarket.. Near to the supermarket, the exact place was in front of a mini market, there was a modest fried snacks stall, next to the juice stall. When we saw it, we then decided to buy it as our takeaway that day.

Here how the stall looked

So modest and simple. You could see that the fried snacks that the seller sold were veggie fritters, fried tofu, fried sweet potato, fried banana, crispy tempeh, crispy tofu, cireng and also molen (rolled) banana.

We ordered what we wanted while asking the price, it was just 10K IDR or not even a USD for 8 pieces of these fried snacks. How cheap! We asked him to make 15K IDR or around 1 USD.

The seller was so kind, he smiled to us and we could see that he sold this person was hygienic (he never took his mask away). This stall was modest as you could see, he only had a stove, a small drawer to put his money and then the showing case of all of his snacks.

Here was our takeaway

We had cireng, crispy fried tofu, fried banana, and crispy tempeh.

We had the opportunity to eat our takeaway in the evening after our dinner (the fried snacks were all not warm anymore).. so how did the taste? Because actually they served best when they were warm.

Cireng that it sold had white color, it had hmmh yummy savory flavour with crunchy chewy texture and good thing is, they weren’t hard to bite at all, they were still soft in not warm condition, GREAT!

And their crispy tofu.. It also had savory flavour with crispy soft texture of the outside skin, inside was empty like on my picture. We said this one was also tasty hmmh yum!

Next, we were curious then, because two kind of the fried snacks were tasty. So we right away tried the other two.

The fried banana had good smell with sweet flavour. It was not hard, the flour seemed so tasty wrapped the banana. Also tasty!

The last one we tried was Crispy tempeh. It had crispy thin texture, not hard and it was so tasty.

Beside tasty, other positive thing from our takeaway was that the fried snacks we bought were not greasy or full of oil like the ordinary ones. So perfect, and so far the best we ever tasted (he could make all the fried snacks tasty, not every place had the best in all kind of those snacks!!!).

So you should try our best street snacks there too!!!
