Hello, friends especially foodies!
Last Thursday mom and i went to one of the famous mall in South Jakarta. There, beside having our lunch (mom favorite, would share about is soon to you all), before going back home that day in the afternoon, on the LG floor, we went to one of our famous local doughnut cafe.. there mom even went inside before me! No wonder, mom is a doughnutholic.. one of her favorite snack is doughnut.
At front they had some beverages menu as you could see.. it sold some coffee, tea and also fruit and tea based beverages.
Inside as you could see from their showing case, they sold many kind of doughnuts, from berry, lemon, cheese, avocado, chocolate strawberry, chocolate, snow white, sugar ice, double chocolate (on top and filling), oreo, almond, milo, black forest and others... i soon get confused of what doughnuts should i choose that day!
They also sold some kind of cakes like black forest and red velvet. It also sold some pasta like beef lasagna (new menu i thought!), some pastries (like cheese croissants, chocolate danish, tuna cheese, croissant plain) and a full chocolate dip doughnut. You could also see that they had barista bar on a corner.. there they hung the menu on the top. They got some kind of yoghurts, espresso and coffee, chocolate, tea, and frappe.
For the doughnuts they sold it each, or by half dozen or a dozen. They also sold baby doughnuts, and also some other doughnut packages. They also had some j.club doughnuts where they served burger like doughnuts. They also sold new menu, croffles. Near their cashier they also had some of their beverages menu like they put outside. For coffee, they had espresso, jco cinno, caramel jccocino, café latte, iced jcocinno, mocha espresso frappucino, iced tiramisu latte and jcocinno frappe. For chocolate drinks they had hot or iced chocolate, oreo frappe, and choco forest. For the fruit based drinks, they had blueberry or strawberry yogurt frappe and also cafe avocado. For tea beverages, they had hot tea, iced thai tea and also green tea frappe.
There we chose the doughnuts we wanted and also the drink. We asked for the cashier's recommendation of their coffee then we bought it. For 4 pieces of doughnuts and a large cup of their best seller mocha espresso coffee.
It was only 81k IDR or around 5.6 USD for all, i think it was affordable.
While waiting for the drink, we took our doughnuts to our table and ate it. Mom first had the sugar ice doughnut...
When mom finally almost finished her first doughnut, the frappe was ready and i took it from their barista. I was surprised because we got one extra more doughnut, glaze doughnut. Here what we had that day..
One by one we ordered sugar ice doughnut, chocolate doughnut, almond doughnut and extra glaze doughnut. For the drink we bought their mocha espresso frapuccino which they said the best. Let's check out how their taste one by one..
All their doughnuts had medium softness with sweet flavour. They had some kind of toppings like icing sugar, glazy liquid sugar, chocolate meises and also almond. All the doughnuts tasted sweet, but mom said almond was the best, it was not too sweet and also smelled so good so almond (but i didn't use to almond anyway).
For their coffee beverage, mocha espresso frappuccino..
It had sweet flavour, a perfect mixture of chocolate and espresso coffee, with the whipped cream on the top. Served chill and so authentic where you could taste tasty chocolate flavour met the authentic espresso.. one of the best iced coffee we've ever had!
Before i forgot, this place also had cozy dining area which you could choose between inside and outside area. They had mostly soft sofas and also soft chairs where you could sit.
