My current work place is actually quite nice, except the higher management is giving me hard time of the century. There's this client that nobody want to service anymore, and I was instructed to takeover, was actually having a hard time for me trying to build rapport and finally have some success in gaining trust from them.

Since this year I've taken over, the client performance actually surpass last year. That part I'm glad we did came to a mutual conclusion. They want their sales, I need the numbers to present to the management to prove I can do it. And we're supposed to go for a dinner celebration tonight with the hostile management fellas, so my client can tell them how important I am.

Perhaps god forbids me playing workplace politics. I was blessed with a serious food poisoning. I had previously experienced once a year having serious diarrhoea to an extend need to put me on drip at the hospital for couple of days so I don't die. I had been sitting at the toilet for whole night yesterday, until I can't take it anymore and visited the doctor, in the hope to get a prescription that can stop my purging immediately.

I guess, there's no perfect medicine. The purge did slowed down after I took my first dose in 3am. And then start vomitting 🤪 I literally puked my brains out. Anything goes in to my mouth, came straight out. I was actually thinking, does the medicine literally stop me ingesting food so I don't have to purge? There's one point I fell asleep sitting on the toilet floor with my head hanging in the toilet bowl.

In the end, no choice but to inform my superior to help me handle the dinner with the client. I'm not sure if the client will become cranky, but am pretty sure this is a perfect situation for the management fella to talk shit behind me, whilst I'm enjoying my plain bread. I got so bored until diced a boiled egg and topped it with protein powder as garnish. Don't worry about the taste, pretty sure it will come right back out later.
