Hello everyone. Today I have another story to share, as usual. It's nothing special, just about my daily life and the kids. There are so many things to do, both fun and stressful, haha! Sometimes I want to relax, but it's never quite there. Today's story begins at 7:00 AM. I woke up and started doing housework, which began with laundry. I grabbed a big laundry basket and went to the backyard. After going out with my husband and kids and following them to work, I hadn't had much time home. It was a day off, so I finally had time to clean up the house, haha!
During the holidays, there's a lot of housework, and my husband helps me a lot. After I've finished cleaning up every nook and cranny, I prepare dinner for the kids and then take them upstairs to do their homework and read. Around 4 pm, I realized there were no fresh vegetables in the refrigerator. So, I suggested to my husband that we drive to the market. We showered and got ready around 4 or 5 pm, and then drove to the market to buy enough vegetables for the week. We also made dinner that evening.
After buying fresh vegetables, I was craving something cold, so I suggested to my husband that we go to a drink shop called Mieche. Actually, there were drink shops near the vegetable stalls, but none of them were quite to my liking. If I wanted a refreshing, sweet and sour drink, this was the only place to go. It was also inexpensive, only 3 ringgit for a large glass. It's just a light honey lemon drink, very refreshing. We bought two glasses; my husband and I shared one, and the other was for our two daughters at home. I forgot to mention that they didn't want to come with us to the market today.
When I got home, I rushed into the kitchen to cook because it was quite late. Today I made three dishes in total, plus a fourth dish, steamed fish, for the elderly in our family. I made stir-fried pork with tofu, which my daughter loves. My husband likes stir-fried cucumber with eggs. And another dish was stir-fried bean sprouts. I chopped some red chilies, put them in a bowl, and added fish sauce. Served with hot rice, the three of them—father and son—said it was delicious and very satisfying. As the cook, I was happy that the kids and my husband enjoyed it. After eating, the children went to bed to get ready for school tomorrow. And that's my story. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to read this article today. I hope you all enjoyed it. Thank you for your continued support. Goodbye for today!
