Hello, my lovely friends! Yesterday evening, I was getting ready for dinner, watching a series and thinking about what to cook. Sometimes I'd even check YouTube for ideas. Just then, my eldest daughter came down from upstairs after finishing her homework, holding another one of my phones! Haha. I knew she wanted to chat with her friends; there were tons of messages. Kids around 12-13 are starting to make friends and socialize. At this age, we need to supervise them closely and observe them carefully, but if we ask too many questions, they might get irritated. So we give them more privacy. My daughter put down her phone and started massaging my neck and shoulders. Then she whispered, "Mommy, can I look at my phone for a sec? My friends sent me a lot of messages, I want to reply to them." Haha. That's all it took for me to know that "just a sec" from my daughter is a myth. Once she gets her phone, she'll be glued to it for half an hour! So I always have to stay close and remind her.

After I unlocked her phone for her, she thanked me and sat there smiling happily, haha. I secretly watched her and felt happy too. Soon, she took out her phone, opened the camera, and started making different faces for photos, laughing all the while. Then she started editing the pictures and sending them to her friends' group chat. Soon after, I heard one of her friends call. That's it, kids' lives now. Parents need to pay attention and watch from a distance, asking how they're doing because their children are growing up. This is a really crucial time to be cautious with children. She made those mischievous faces, and I still felt like she was a little kid, but sometimes she prefers to stay in her room quietly, keeping her younger sister away, which makes me worried and curious. Do any of you have children around the same age? How are your children? I'd love to hear some tips on raising and caring for them. Thank you for reading my article today. See you in the next one! Bye!
