Enjoy a peaceful evening walk around our longan orchard and rice rice field, and nearby farms with my wife, granddaughter and autistic son.
Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. In this post, I’ll take you to see the evening atmosphere of my family’s longan orchard and rice fields. Yesterday morning, my family and I pruned the longan trees, but there are still some areas left untouched. My wife and I took our granddaughter and autistic son for a walk around our longan orchard and rice field yesterday evening. The orchard is located about 600 meters from our home, while the rice field sits just beyond it, roughly 900 meters away. For years, the only places we could take our autistic son were school and the hospital. Yesterday evening marked the very first time he stepped outside of that routine. But we had to use a plastic safety harness for my autistic son when we went out for a walk yesterday evening to keep him safe too.
Let’s stroll through the longan orchard first. The evening vibe is wonderful, with a cool and crisp breeze.
After that, we walked along the path between the farmlands, moving from our longan orchard to our rice field. The atmosphere around here was nice too. In the area between the longan orchard and the rice field, the villagers were plant corn. They had previously grown watermelons, which they just finished harvesting two weeks ago.
We strolled along until we arrived at our rice field. This is the very field where we cultivate rice for our year-round consumption. The sunset cast a stunning glow over the landscape. We immersed ourselves in the beautiful view of our rice field for a long while before heading back home.
