Homemade simple lunch, using some fresh vegetables from the home garden.
Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. My wife and I continue to live a simple life at home without any outdoor activities. We just enjoy our everyday routine at home. Even though I am the primary caregiver for our autistic son and spend almost all day with him. And my wife still takes charge of cooking. So this post focuses on the lunch she prepared using fresh vegetables from our home garden—though not all of them, as some were bought from a mobile grocery truck. Let's see what my wife cooked for lunch. The main dish my wife cooked is egg fried rice with crab sticks, and the side dish is clear soup with minced pork and vegetables. For this egg fried rice with crab sticks, my wife used fresh brussels sprouts picked from the home garden. She also gathered chili peppers to make spicy fish sauce to eat with it.
And she gathered fresh yardlong beans and spring onions to use as ingredients for clear soup with minced pork and vegetables.
Since both dishes are simple to make, that's why I didn't include the recipes for both dishes. But I used cooking photos instead of instructions this time. This may not include all the steps of cooking.
