Today's ride takes us from Shoalhaven Heads to Berry. The team is riding via Back First Road around Coolangatta Mountain. My plan is to take the direct route to intercept them as they get onto Agars Lane

Turned down Beach Road seeking out hyacinth orchids - a few spikes
Found some - not as pink, a bit of curl on tbe sepals and petals. Colour of the spike is not right for roseum but the petals curl is right

Took the turn down Toolijooia Rod toward Broughton Village. Driven this a bit but not cycled all the way

Riad drops under the highway and onto the old Princes Highway. View down to Woodhill Mountain
View down the valley to the distant Cambewarra Mountain
And an even longer view down to Manildra Factory on the Shoalhaven River in Bomadery. Driven this old Princes Highway a lot but never cycled it. Safe now there is a bypass
Made our way into Berry for lunch.
Lunch shot in Berry General Store - not tried before and worth a visit - good service and good food and one block off the busy track
Town is decked out in pink for breast cancer month
Took a side road to get photo of the hill we passed earlier - Moeyjan Hill from the south side
Passed Sara Dining just been awarded two hats. A few cars parked on the grass. A friend went there last week - service was bad with mains arriving before entrees. Will get more reviews from locals before we go

Had dinner wit the crew in the bowling club. It was busy but good to see 28 riders adding to the local economy
