Spring flowers and home orchids on pickleball day : September 15 2026
It's a pickleball day - played a different venue to the last few weeks. Played Frenchs Forest before - close to where we first lived in Sydney and where my children first went to school. A more gentle bunch of people. We had 9 players over 2 courts - a rest every now and then. 3 blokes and 6 ladies. Had some good games - my play is improving slowly. Really pleased with the service stuff I learned last week

Dinner request surprised me - another steak bbq. Chose to turn mine into a steak sandwich - bacon, egg, onion, mushroom, steak thinly sliced, baby spinach, cheese. Only missing beetroot - used a hot tomato relish as a base. Fun dinner
