Mother Nature dumped more rain onto the already soaked landscape so my run was a very damp affair. But the miles were strong even with treacherous footing on the muddy trails.
The first road miles was through the pouring rain but it was warm enough to keep me comfortable. Past the local college grounds I turned onto the trail system where the rain became a light sprinkle but the heavy clay dirt became a slick and slippery surface so it was tricky and cautious running for the next 4 miles (plus 1 nice tumble but only a few scrapes).
My legs felt really strong today and I'm getting pysched for my upcoming 24 hour.
