Recce greenhood ride in Seven Mile Beach NP plus ant orchids : March 31 2026
Wake to a clear blue sky and no noise from the apartment above. Great to be away at the coast. Was thinking of a longish bike ride and orchid walk. Did not work out that way - got busy on other things. Went for a shorter ride

Did walk this track last week - makes this an update recce walk - helmet orchid leaf. Not quite in focus but the first spot this season

This leaned over tree told me I was in a spot known from prior years. Last year was just a few flowers - this year will be at least a half dozen more
Walked fiether than normal. In prior years I would ride to a sign in the middle of the park and walk this mid-segment specifically. Today I walked in all the way - silver top mushroom

Did cook dinner - cottage pie from bolognese sauce mynwife cooked a few days ago. Make mashed potato - bake in oven - serve with green veges
