We were out for breakfast and a bit of a walk at Birkdale foreshore. It is a nice spot, but it was pretty crowded, I had forgotten it was still school holidays. They must have used these tree logs as some sort of boat ramp back in the day, but the mangroves seem to have made them useless now. I used to ride my bike around this area, too, when I was training for triathlons, feels like so long ago.
