To enjoy the fruit differently, prepare strawberries in light syrup, it is spectacular to keep in the fridge, they can even serve you to decorate some cake.
INGREDIENTS:
300 grams of strawberries
1 cup of sugar.
1 cup of water.
Cinnamon stick.
PREPARATION:
Clean the strawberries, remove the leaves. Reserve.
Proceed to prepare the syrup as follows:
In a pot add the cup of water, the cinnamon stick and the cup of sugar, stir until the sugar dissolves. Boil for about 5 minutes. Wait for it to thicken.
List the Strawberries in Syrup.
