Hello everyone!
Yesterday my neighbor gave me 1 kg of cassava which he harvested from his garden. This cassava is very fresh and looks very dirty on the ground because it was just harvested an hour ago. He told me that the harvest of cassava this time was very large, so he had a lot of profit this time of harvest. When he came to my house and delivered these cassava, he told me to make these cassava for my content on the hive, and coincidentally @qurator holds a Hive Top Chef every week with the theme 'Traditional Dessert'. #HiveTopChef
At first I was confused to determine some menus that I would show my hive friends. There are so many traditional desserts that I know in Indonesia. But because there were so many, I got dizzy and thought hard, my husband had suggested a lot of menus, and I wasn't interested. Until finally my neighbor came to give this very delicious cassava.
I remember a favorite food when I was a child, my mother loved to make it because she is a lover of cassava-based food. He always gives this thai cassava when I invite my friends to come for group work. My mother also tells many stories that cassava is a food that my grandmother often makes because she has difficult finances. My mother also told me that almost every day my grandmother cooked cassava because she didn't have the money to buy rice, so she used the yard to grow cassava as their staple food.
By the way, at that time I immediately imagined a dessert that is very familiar with my life!

I forgot to stop eating this thai cassava because besides being delicious, I missed my mom's thai cassava. I hope he sees me from heaven there, that I miss his thai cassava as well as him.
