Greetings to all coffee lovers!
Today I'm staying home to check on my outdoor spaces, since yesterday there was a heavy downpour from Tropical Wave 42, which swept through this area and caused a lot of property damage.
This week I had very varied experiences with coffee. Besides the coffees at home and those we enjoyed during workouts, there were the ones from yoga on Friday, and the hike on Sunday, which started with a thermos of coffee and cinnamon that I brought, and ended with two thermoses that my friend Yaquelin brought, one with coffee and the other with milk for those who wanted to mix and match.
Last Thursday, the creative members of the group came up with a "crazy socks" day, and the photo of the coffee toast, without a doubt, had to include both options. I should mention that these morning coffee toasts, and the afternoon ones with tea or some other fruit cocktail, have been eye-catching routines for marketing purposes. Why? Because the idea has always been to reflect that Vida is not only a functional training, but a place where many everyday things are mixed together from a place of spiritual harmony and physical well-being.
For this reason, these fun and colorful posts of us toasting with coffee, tea, juice, or hot chocolate have created a very appealing atmosphere for everyone who sees our photos on social media, and it's become a kind of marketing that attracts people to join the group. We never did it with that intention, but that's what's been happening.
The power outages in our area have been mostly in the afternoon, sometimes almost until night, and there's usually a light rain... that's why a coffee and a book are what make the wait soothe. I get more excited when I buy new brands of coffee... this week I bought the gourmet one from Más x Menos, and the Aurora coffee that a friend here on Hive recommended. Both were wonderful, and she was right when she said it had an aroma of chocolate or cocoa powder.
The week started off very lively; almost the entire morning training group was present. One of our teammates, who is from Hawaii, is returning home for a while, and we've tried to spend as much time with her as possible before she leaves.
Yesterday, the morning coffee break was packed, but in the afternoon, almost no one attended the class because the mini-hurricane that swept through, leaving everything in its wake, kept everyone at home as a precaution. Today, everything is back to normal, thank God.
Thanks for visiting my blog... I wish you a wonderful day.
