You will need:

Red tomatoes 600 g

Salt 0.5 tsp

Garlic 2 tooth.

Fresh Basil 1 vet.

Olive oil 30 ml

Sugar 10 g

Dried oregano 0.5 tsp

Cilantro 2-3 vet.

How to cook:

Step 1.

As we prepare tomato sauce, first and foremost, we need a basis of tomato puree. The most natural option is to prepare a puree of fresh tomatoes. To do this, the tomatoes grind in a blender, pre-clearing the skin. If necessary, you can puree RUB through a sieve, achieving a uniform consistency. Of course, you can use prepared tomato puree and even tomato paste (for 500 ml tomato puree you need to take in about 200 g of tomato paste and dilute it with boiling water).

Step 2.

On slow fire cook the tomato puree, stirring frequently. Take a deep pot, because the sauce likes to get wild))) - squirts. Add to mashed potatoes, salt, sugar and olive oil. Cook the sauce about 15-20 minutes.

Step 3.

About 5 minutes before the end of cooking the sauce add the herbs and spices. I have a very small set of spices - only the most necessary, in my opinion. I put a little Basil, a little cilantro and dried oregano. Also, I use garlic a little, but significantly)). If You don't like pieces of garlic in the sauce, then crush it with spadefoot toad.

Step 4.

The finished tomato sauce to cool. It can be stored in the refrigerator in glass jars. Incidentally, this sauce is ideal not only for pizza but for pasta, for example. You never know what You'll want to prepare when You have such a wonderful tasty sauce!

Bon appetit!
