Get up early, and start moving to prepare sandwiches for breakfast.
How about a sandwich for breakfast? It is one of the ways to a good lifestyle, which we can live if we want to start to live healthier. There are tons of sandwich ideas that we can make at home.
Some of them with the simplest options. But many things will complicate us if we use unusual fillings. Well, I like about the extra work for my hands. I consider it a good exercise for moving my body in the morning. I need more movement of course.
I chose a sandwich recipe with several ingredients that I had to prepare first. I deliberately chose the sandwich variant to make me not lazy to move. While preparing the ingredients for the sandwich, I wish I could reactivate my brain from my sleep.
Well, I'm used to thinking about a lot of creative things while cooking. It helps me create many new creative ideas including new menu ideas that I will make for the next day.
So, what's for breakfast today? I chose several ingredients such as potatoes, carrots as well as Romaine Lettuce and avocado as a filling for the sandwich.
For basic sandwiches, I choose to use toast. You can use bread without roasting. That's okay. Just follow your tastebuds.
For the sauce (optional)
What I like about preparing this sandwich is that I can do housework such as sweeping and washing dishes, while waiting for some of the ingredients to cook and be ready to be used to serve together.
Roast Bread
Boil/Steam Veggies
By the way, you can also steam your choice of vegetables. It doesn't matter at all whether you choose to steam or boil the vegetables.
Making Sauce
Making Mashed Potato and Carrot
Making Mashed Avocado
The incomplete equipment this time made my sandwich look messy. This time I was dissatisfied with the shape of the sandwich. I don't have a supply of plastic wrap to make sandwiches neater and nicer.
But, what about the taste? Because I think the taste is good and quite good, I finally forgave the messy shape of the sandwich.
I also serve this vegan sandwich for my partner and my nephews. In the end, I'm so glad they liked my vegan variation of the sandwich. Even though it's only made from plant-based ingredients, they still like it.
Sometimes it's quite difficult to serve only plant-based ingredients without animal ingredients to people who are not used to them. However, now I am grateful. My family members can accept and like the food menus that I make. It can be seen that they have adapted well to my cooking results, which are mostly vegan food.
Is the sandwich variant what you like? Maybe you have a fav filling and sauce for you always use to fill your sandwiches to start the day. So, what is your favorite filling?
