The journey was lonely, but not heartbreaking. I stared along the highway which was only filled with trees. Then, the color of the sky calmed me down. I smiled, took my phone, then listened to random songs on Youtube.

I always love how the universe tells me. So that time I found an ad on Youtube about a meditation application. I didn't skip the ad, because I focused on what a narrator said in the ad. One sentence, but enough to amaze me.

"MY SOUL DESERVES PEACE."

Forgiveness to Create Peace in Our Hearts

The basic thing that we ask when we want to forgive someone is "does he deserve to be sorry for what he has done?"

Then, I realized that forgiving doesn't need an answer to the question. Forgiveness is not about someone worthy or not. Instead, it is his responsibility if he wants to change for the better or not. We don't need to think about whether someone has changed for the better or not to get our forgiveness.

Sometimes we feel that life is becoming unfair. Why are problems so easily resolved by forgiveness, even if the person is not apologetic?

But now we are talking about the benefits of forgiveness for ourselves. So now, let's change the question, "Do we deserve peace?" If the answer is yes, then try to forgive anyone you haven't forgiven yet.

LET IT GO

We may think that unforgiveness is retribution for those who have hurt us. In fact, it will only continue to stress our minds. We still leave our mind room for those guilty people.

Vengeance is none of our business. The Universe has its own way of teaching people a lesson. It is not our job to want to repay others for being bad.

There are many beautiful things that we have to think about than we must still think about what retribution for these guilty people.

From the screenshots I got from the trip, I also felt peaceful. I get a reminder that it's okay for us to be hurt, the important thing is we let it go and all our pain will be replaced with happiness, in unexpected ways. Don't ever guess that.

We just need to forgive, and let it go. Think of some of the things that come in our lives as lessons, and that allows us to step into the current phase.

Sometimes I ask myself, what's worse, people who misbehave, or my own unforgiving thoughts that make it bad? Don't all humans make mistakes and that is a process of getting better?
