I could barely sleep, so excited about waking up as soon as I feel the sun and go out in the woods.
Went to bed so anxious for the next day! I couldn't wait to go and try my luck on my own, with all the knowledge I have gathered from that man!
After a random meeting in the forest with a mushroom gatherer (Check:Mushrooms from the forest to the plate!)
Felt like I was ready to spot at least 3 kinds. That was good enough! All the knowledge and all the findings.. I was feeling it, I was already hooked.
The feeling of gathering ingredients and cooking with them is so beautiful:
1 Chanterelle, 2 Amanita caesarea, and 5 Boletus edulis
Its like walking thru the woods searching for treasure!
As a kid I did not eat any mushrooms, at the time I thought I didn't like them.
So now I'm discovering the taste of the different mushrooms.
An adventure for me, a culinary adventure!
Fried them with butter, salt and black pepper.
