In Indonesia there are lots of delicious culinary delights, one of which is corn bakwan, usually here we process corn into crispy bakwan
Plant Power (Vegan)
Hello friends, everyone, hive and food lovers
hello everyone, back with me again on this occasion I want to share corn bakwan, breaking the fast feels incomplete if there is no fried food, it feels like something is definitely missing, what a coincidence I just bought corn at the market and I plan to make carrot corn bakwan, bakwan Corn tastes better than ordinary vegetable bakwan
Corn bakwan is actually the same as vegetable bakwan, usually except that this bakwan can use vegetables according to taste, such as cabbage, carrots, corn and bean sprouts, these are the types of vegetables that are often used to make bakwan, but you can also add your favorite vegetables if you like them.
but this time I made corn bakwan for fried food when breaking the fast later, and here I also made other complementary menus such as fried noodles as an additional menu for breaking the fast later, and there are also several other fresh drinks
Ingredients for making corn fritters:
1 piece of sweet corn
1 carrot
celery leaves
leek
bakwan seasoning flour
how to make :
(1) The first step is to cut the vegetables, including carrots. Here I peel the carrots and grate them directly with a large grater or you can also cut them according to your taste.
(2) and after that I flattened the corn after all the vegetables were ready then washed the vegetables clean, after that took 10 tablespoons of bakwan flour then added a little water until the mixture was a little runny but solid, and then cut the spring onions and celery into the mixture then stir well.
(3) then prepare the oil for frying, actually here I want to mold the bakwan dough using a special bakwan mold, because I'm in a hurry I only use measuring spoons, by taking 2 spoons of bakwan dough then frying it in hot oil
After that, turn the corn bakwan over and when the color changes to golden brown, then lift the bakwan and drain, fry the mixture until it's all used up. To measure the dough here, I got 12 medium sized corn bakwan.
Here are some photos after it is finished
and the corn bakwan tara is ready to be served, as a complementary menu for breaking the fast, it is very delicious if dipped with chili sauce or eaten with cayenne pepper if you are a spicy lover, the corn bakwan is very delicious, the outside is crispy and the combination of sweet and savory vegetables is very well suited
That's all my post this time, I hope you like the corn bakwan recipe that I shared, and don't forget to try this recipe, friends,
