Share Our World: Road Trip Day 9-10 Idaho

The road trip continues. After spending spending time in eastern Idaho we traveled west across the state to Oregon to spend Christmas with the family.

I enjoyed the drive across Idaho and through cities and towns I had once lived in as a missionary in the early 1990s.

Idaho has a lot of flat farm land!

We went west through Twin Falls, Jerome, Mountain Home and Meridian Idaho.

We had a wonderful time in Mountain Home when we stopped to see our Aunt Fay. She is my dad's sister and the last of the 5 siblings that is living. She was born in 1934. She married at the age of 15 and had 12 children. She told us she wanted even more! She is the grandmother of 57.

We looked through albums with her and listened to stories of our father. We found some great pictures of our father and grandparents. It was such a treat to spend time with her.

Meridian, Idaho
We spent the night in Meridian Idaho with a dear friend of mine from when I lived in DC. We spent the day at Adele's house talking, eating, playing VR, and making ginger bread houses.
