Hello splinter nerds
The merit we are getting from brawl, quest and season chest that we keep complaining that why too much merits instead of sps actually are very useful in leveling up our gladius cards to a desired level or max...
I was able to utilize the abilities of chimney wallstop to the max today, the opponent didn't see my set up coming and it was only possible because my gladius was in level 7 and had the repair ability....
It was a fog of war rule set which means monsters lose the sneak, snipe and opportunity ability and also only melee attackers can be used...
The opponent used monsters with the thorn, affliction and demoralize ability, I actually love his set up too and he was so confident he was going to win as he did not expect my line up..... what did I use?
Since it is the tank that will suffer the damages, I needed a strong melee tank especially one with a healer and armor so I used septic slime with the stun ability...
Then I placed Chimney wallstop in the second position, it has the reach ability so it can attack from the second line and it has the ```repair ability too which will help to protect the septic slime..
The opponent had difficulties in defeating me because I use two monsters with the repair ability so the septic never run shot on armor and the opponent was not able to cause damage to my monsters as expected...
It was a flawless victory as the opponent had a really tough time with my tank, only two of his monsters could attack and I had two armor repairer to fix that, my septic stun ability also worked effectively stunning the opponent multiple times and made it easier for me to win without losing any monster in the battle....
The more monsters chimney wallstop kills, the stronger he becomes due to the bloodlust ability he possess, so anytime he kills the opponent, it becomes much more easier to defeat the next because his attack power has increased as well...
I would try this set up again when I come across a battle rule set like this, it is really one of the best set up I have used...
