A friend of mine was staying at Basin Harbour on Lake Champlain. I got to spend a night there as his guest.
The resort is family owned since 1886, five generations and counting.
Since its on the Vermont side of the lake, the views are of the Adirondacks.
We caught a pretty nice sunset. Although we almost missed it, finishing up dessert at one of the dining options 😊
The morning was fogged in. Distinctive, brightly colored Adirondack chairs are a signature of the resort.
The marina provided some nice reflections as the lights came up.
