We love our morning glories by the garden. Beautiful in morning when we go out to check the garden. And very photographic with the morning light, they seem to glow.
Each flower is perfect and each flower lasts only one day.
We save seeds and reseed them each spring. This year we have pink and purple flowers so far. Sometimes we have white also and might yet this year.
The shadows are fun. In the bright morning light, the flowers are almost translucent.
Even though the flowers only last for a day, the vines continue to put out new flowers. And the flowers are abundant right now.
More shadows. Between the netting over my berries (which needs taken down 馃檮), the fence, and the chains supporting the hanging baskets, there are lots of diffferent patterns.
When the lighting is right you can see the pollen. Morning glories are favorites with humming birds and all the other pollinators but humming birds in particular are drawn to trumpet flowers.
This shot shows the multiple blooms and also some blooms that have already closed. Hope my morning glories brightened your day 馃檪
