On one of my last days in greece I saw a really nice sunset at the sea when I was waiting for my dinner at the Restaurant in Koroni. The restaurants in the harbour of koroni offer some really nice seafood and I really like to eat there. It was a really nice holiday but I have to admit that it has gone by too fast. 2 weeks are a little bit to less in my opinion.
Greece is the kind of place where history doesn't feel like a textbook鈥攊t's right there under your feet as you walk past ancient marble columns glowing in the late afternoon sun.
The islands wrap you up in a brilliant contrast of stark white buildings, bright blue domed churches, and the endless, clear expanse of the Aegean Sea. Days here melt together perfectly, shifting from quiet mornings on cobblestone streets to long, lazy lunches of fresh feta and grilled seafood right by the water's edge. I like swimming in the sea, now back in Austria I will visit the lake for some swimming again.
In the early morning and on early afternoon the boats with the fresh cought fish will return from their fishing trip and the fresh cought fish are offered in the restaurants there.
