For my participation in CCC's Street Art Contest #158, I have chose a mural done in early spring by Johnny Crap and DFEK representing the two main characters of the Disney series, The Mandolorian with Din Djarin and Grogu. Wonderful collaboration but maybe my opinion is biased since I'm a fan of the series 😀.

In 2020, the two artists had already painted this wall with a stunning Darth Vader, to see on [StreetArt #336](@heroldius/street-art-336 -johnny-crap-and-dfek-montreal) but since the Force hadn't helped it, the wall was covered in tags. A bit like the work of Maylis Dudu which is on the other side of the convenience store (in red), see StreetArt # 536.

En 2020, les deux artistes avaient déjà peint ce mur avec un magnifique Dark Vador, à voir sur StreetArt #336 mais comme la Force ne l'avait pas aidé, il était recouvert de tags. Un peu comme l'oeuvre de Maylis Dudu qui se trouve sur l'autre côté du dépanneur (en rouge), voir StreetArt #536.

In this wall, Jonathan Bergeron aka Johnny Crap aka Zen painted the characters. He is a Montreal-based painter and illustrator who loves painting superheroes (especially villains) and the Star Wars universe. Still very realistic.

Dans ce mur, Jonathan Bergeron aka Johnny Crap aka Zen s'est occupé des personnages. Il s'agit d'un peintre et illustrateur basé à Montréal qui adore peindre des superhéros (surtout les méchants) et l'univers de Star Wars. Toujours très réaliste.

DFEK, an artist also based in Montreal, took care of this superb lettering in his recognizable style. He is a pioneer of StreetArt in Montreal as he has been walking its streets for more than 20 years as a member of the 156 AllStarz international crew.

DFEK, artiste aussi basé à Montréal, s'est chargé de ce superbe lettrage dans son style reconnaissable. Il est pionner du StreetArt à Montréal car il parcourt ses rues depuis plus de 20 ans en tant que membre du 156 AllStarz international crew.

To better admire this wall, I took some photos of the details including this one "This Is The Wall", a tribute to the famous Mandolorian mantra "This Is the Way". It makes me smile every time. Even when I take a picture of a quality mural, I say this phrase now 😀.

Pour mieux admirer ce mur, j'ai pris quelques photos des détails dont celui-là "This Is The Wall", hommage au fameux mantra des Mandoloriens "This Is the Way". Cela me fait sourire à chaque fois. Même quand je prends une photo d'une murale de qualité, je dis cette phrase maintenant 😀.
