Merry Christmas and Happy Boxing Day! I hope you and yours are well this holiday season!
Did you have a "white Christmas?" We didn't technically (i.e. no snowflakes fell here on Christmas) - but there was still plenty on the ground from our most recent snowfall - and more is expected tonight.
This is my entry into the Gaugan Contest brought to us by @steemean.
How I Made This Image
I started with this picture of mine from along the North Platte River where my in-laws live.
Then, I visited the Gaugan AI art generator which takes paint strokes and interprets them with real-world imagery to create amazing photoreal images. It's not perfect, but it does an excellent job at creating awesome art.
I've also used @steemean's extra palette of hidden brushes, which increases the possibilities enormously! In this case, I used the boat brush. I'm really looking for good boats today.
Other Results
I'm primarily looking for good interpretation of the brushes, lack of repetition, good color, lighting and mood. There are always plenty of great options to choose from!
This one was harder than usual as it was difficult to find something that kept the boats looking like boats (ish) and still kept the snow looking like snow.
