The month has come to its end and that means it's time we review how our Monthly Theme went. In this post, we will announce the best contributions, both from non-med members as well as med members, related to our discussion of the month.
You can always join the contests that MED-HIVE community is promoting and we encourage every member to write and post about our monthly theme.

Being blind isn’t a disease though it hurts not being able to see things, then, the beauty of it all is that you can imagine, and thanks to technology which has made living easier, no matter the challenges faced that is mainly caused by people's words toward my kind, I am a human who is rightly made and I am never a mistake to the world which begot me.

@draysax - AI and Eye Health (Retina-AI as an example)
In Ophthalmology (the specialty that deals with eye health), a number have been developed but only a few have been able to reach stages of almost entering mainstream use across the world.
One great example is RETINA-AI, developed by RETINA-AI Health Inc., founded by a US-based Nigerian Ophthalmologist and Computer Genius, Dr. Stephen Odaibo. They are based in the USA and have developed a number of technologies in AI to deal with diseases of the eye. They in fact have patent for their technologies in the US.

A post explaining the next month's theme will come out on Monday, January 2nd. Due to the beginning of the month starting on a Sunday, our weekly prompt schedule will exceptionally be coming out on Tuesday, January 3rd.
We hope to get more participation from our loved members so we keep growing this community into a reference in health and medicine information on the Hive blockchain.
