I found this mushroom/fungus on Slumbering Bear Trail. It was only about and inch and a quarter wide.
Hi guys!
Today dawned cold and sunny! We got up early to head to church to train a gal to run the new sound system. She was great and things went well! She will back next week to run sound for us as we lead worship.
We got home around 12:30 and I set to making lunch and coffee for Mike. We had plans to hike with Jan at 3 PM, so we relaxed until then. It was fairly cool as we set out, but the sun was shining and it was awesome. I hit the mushroom jackpot again today, and I look forward to sharing some of the photos I captured.
I have been working with Jan over the past couple of months to get her set up on a phone. She’s taken the phone with her on vacation and is becoming adept at learning how to operate it. I wasn’t aware until just about 3 weeks ago, that it would not hook up to any WiFI. Funny thing is, it would hook up to my phone’s hotspot, and we later learned Mike’s too, but not to any regular WIFI connection. I have done everything even up to a complete factory reset on this phone. Nothing has worked; she took it to the Apple store locally, where they say it’s perfectly fine. Today, we still cannot get it to hook up. Tomorrow after Bible study, we are headed back the the Apple store where I am going to talk to the tech. There is something definitely WRONG with this phone! I am really curious to see what happens when they try to hook up to WIFI.
This was one of the mushrooms I found while on my hiking boot expedition yesterday. This was located in the parking berms that usually have bushes and/or trees in them between a group of parking spaces. This wasn't even the biggest one!
If you look closely, you can see the parking lot lights off in the skyline of this picture.
It will be time for bed soon; we need to get to sleep sooner than usual tonight as I have to get up in the morning to roast coffee for my Portland, OR customer before Bible Study. That means an early morning for sure..
