It has been a couple crazy weeks but I hear the call of the legions to return to discussions of positivity on the blockchain. I hang with @wesphilbin all week long but about once in a while I pause to create a blog to discuss positive stuff using #thoughtfuldailypost as a tag. Positivity is best when shared and we often have to be reminded to linger and think good thoughts. Now, we have an all-new vehicle in the form of @thoughtfulposts, to whom I have delegated to boost that curation service!

Just Don't Do It

I thought I was the only one adjusting his tinfoil hat when I see those stupid trawling polls on centralized social media. Was I the only one who saw the similarity in the security questions for cloud-based services? Why the hell would people pump their information into databases of facebook AND unknown origin?

All the peers I count on for security advice are not even on centralized social media anymore and simply poo-pooed me for even bringing up privacy in the context of facebook. Either way, this is apparently a tweet from a regional law enforcement regiment and they apparently agree with me!

All I have to say is stop pumping your historical details into these dumbass conversational posts on Facebook! Better yet, get on decentralized social media and at least make some money while you do it! ;)

These are some damn good laws

This is so much wisdom in one post, I don't know where to start. Maybe I could sum it up for the TL:DR folks?

I suppose this tells me that all that matters is now, nothing is that serious, and shit is all good! This is why I don't write memes all that often!

Here is 6 minutes of Nothing Else Matters! It has lost its lustre for me but some may be inspired to look back into something that was.

Bee

This one annoys me on a few levels. The pandering distraction of the bolded words, random white guy telling me the way it is, and having to end the statement with "Read that again." When you can get around all that, the middle there is gold in them thar hills.

Perhaps the role that flies play in the circle of life is being overly downplayed here. Still, if we imagined ourselves as bees, we wouldn't worry much about the constantly buzzing and reproducing shit eaters.

Let us happily harvest our pollen and allow the flies to eat what they will without judgement.
