It is #BeerSaturday time of week again like it has been for just over 9 years! Our good friend detlev@detlev is MIA on a desert adventure but hopefully he is staying hydrated with BEER. #beersaturday will prevail through the escapades of the whole blockchain beer drinking crew.

This week, I am sharing a few late summer beers as we deny the inevitability of Autumn.

First, the Pint of the Week!

I shared this pint as the crown of a big actifit@actifit post earlier this week. I am only a couple miles from this brewery at most times but don't drop into Jobsite Brewing near enough. I got the call this week to join a trivia team for a charity event and took the opportunity to enjoy a hazy IPA and all dressed pizza fresh from their wood-fire oven. Making me hungry and thirsty just looking back on it.

Great Lakes Beer!

Summer seems to give me more reasons to head into the big city and, when I do, I have to make a stop at Great Lakes The biggest treat is when they have a brand new, one-off, limited run IPA for me to enjoy fresh. BINGO! A neat new hazy to enjoy in front of the ball game!

Moon Landing Hazy IPA would have jumped into my 8-pack of beers to go even without seeing it is packed with my favourite Galaxy hops. Such a fantastic, bold hoppy hazy and full-bodied IPA, I wish I had brought more of them home! A nice treat and I am looking forward to their next one.

Citraddiction!

Another really neat find from my GLB haul wasCitraddiction I didn't even look to see it is an XPA and weighs in at only 4.4% ABV which might qualify it as a summer classic. Not often do I find a beer as light as this with so much flavour and hops! Definitely "Solidly quaffable" and a very refreshing pint perfect for active summer fun.

MAGfest Beers

Labourday weekend brought me back up north for a weekend in paradise and music. I will have to share that take in the next short while but here is a little taste. Lifeline from All My Friends Brewing made it home with me after I visited the brewery and survived the fridge right up until the big weekend. So, I threw it in a cooler and headed north. Perfect for a little outdoors, day drinkin heading up to the big show at night.

I don't drink JUST IPAs. Parked in front of the stage for the opening acts, I sipped on this By The Skin Of Our Teeth Czech dak lager from (Wishbone Brewing](www.wishbonebrews.com) It is not even in their listing on the webpage so it must be a 1-off. Funny how a darker malt can make the beer so tasty and you don't even miss the edge when it is a low 4.5% ABV. Light enough but wonderfully malty for a nice summer change.
