CAN YOU SURVIVE A DAY WITHOUT YOUR PHONE?

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog.

A very big thank you to the person who invented the phone.

Because as a student phone brings a lot of opportunities and without it, it's like making my life miserable.

I know people would say the phone has changed education in so many ways. But mostly, in a good way. Yeah! everything has its advantages and disadvantages but you will agree with me that the phone makes education/school easy.

ADVANTAGES

I can easily access Google and do research on topics I don't understand instead of going through different text books to get my answer.
It helps save time.

With a phone call I can get help when I feel sick, in an emergency, urgent money for feeding, handout etc.

I can easily send a congratulation message to someone very far from me without having to pay a visit.

I can't imagine leaving my house with just books and my bag. No WhatsApp notification, no early phone call from my dad, no class rep sending the schedules for lectures, it sounds strange and impossible especially in this century.

Because it has become part of our lives and it feels strange and hard to live without it.

I know without phone education will be more human.
Communication and relationships become necessary.

DADVANTAGES

But can we really go back to these?

You will have to meet your friends physically every time you want to communicate with them.

You will have to communicate physically with the course rep or course mate to know what time you will be having lectures.
So many things about your life as a student revolves around communicating physically.

You can't save your life with a phone call because you will have to talk to someone physically when you're sick before you can get any help.

Like damn I can't do it.

Once again, a big thank you to the person who invented the phone.

Yeah I know physical conversation creates memories and brings people closer.

We can also use our phone to create and keep memories with pictures, funny videos, and more.

I can meet new friends within and outside my country, for example “Hive.”

With a platform like hive, I was able to meet new people and make friends.

Everything becomes easy right?

But no offence, if you can't be closer to me on my phone too then you're not ready for friendship with me.😂😂

In fact I feel more comfortable and more of myself while chatting or on voice call.
Physically, I'm the shy type I won't say pim.😂

And I know I'm not alone, the phone has saved a lot of people from embarrassing moments.
Those awkward introductions during hangouts or group conversations.
Or when you jumped into a conversation thinking you're sharing your idea too only to be looked at like…

“Who is this?” 😞

Do I want the phones taken away?

Sincerely, NO.

Phones/technology have improved education in so many ways. And that shouldn't be a problem.
I think we need to work on ourselves, not the tool.
We should learn how to help ourselves in our own way and not be too dependent.

I believe it was invented to make our lives easier and not to replace the human touch to life.

Thank you for stopping by.
Bye for now.❤️❤️
