English version

Today I’m going to prepare a delicious chicken recipe with vegetables and some herbs that will make this a truly unforgettable experience.

For this dish, we’ll need chicken based on the number of guests; in this case, it’s for four people, so we’ll use one kilogram. We’ll also need one kilogram of vegetables, including squash, cassava, Chaco, and taro. Additionally, we’ll use 300 grams of carrots, 300 grams of potatoes, and one small zucchini.

1000103879.jpg

We’ll peel the vegetables, and use the peels and scraps for compost to feed the plants. Then we’ll chop the chicken into small pieces, and in a five-liter pot, we’ll add everything—the chopped chicken and vegetables. Then we’ll add 2 cups of filtered water.

Next, place the pot on the stove—which should be on, of course—and let it cook until the chicken and vegetables are done, checking every twenty minutes to make sure they’re cooking properly. Add salt to taste.

Meanwhile, select 10 sweet peppers, one medium bell pepper, two medium onions, and two heads of garlic to add to the dish. First, remove the seeds and membranes from the stew (as we just called it), then chop them into small pieces.

Let it cook for 10 minutes. Finally, add Grandma’s seasoning: cilantro, parsley, mint, and chives (well-washed). A touch of brown sugar. Cover, let it sit for three minutes, and turn off the heat. There’s nothing left to say: Enjoy your meal!
