You see, a few months ago I was with some colleagues doing an educational conference of Hive Visit Your University in that house of studies, as I am in charge of making contacts with the authorities, this allowed me to know about the masters that they made and many specialized studies of which I did not know.
I have always been a studious woman, I started school at the age of three and although during this time I have had children, family, work and other occupations, in my plans has always been to improve myself.

"La casa de los saberes", allí me encuentro, les comento como pasó todo y porque a través de Hive pude abrir otras puertas. Verán, hace unos meses estuve junto a unos compañeros realizando una conferencia educativa de Hive Visita Tu Universidad en esa casa de estudios, como soy la encargada de hacer los contactos con las autoridades, esto me permitió conocer sobre las maestrías que realizaban y muchos estudios especializados de los que no conocía.
Siempre he sido una mujer estudiosa, comencé a la escuela a los tres años y aunque durante este transitar he tenido hijos, familia, trabajo y otras ocupaciones, en mis planes siempre ha estado el superarme.
The time of the bachelor's degree was really traumatic, I lost a lot of time there and I am waiting for my bachelor's degree to be officially delivered to me in the coming months, after 13 years, a long story.
But with cunning and some luck I got the quota for the master's degree in the final stretch, I had months pending and contacting the deputy director of the pedagogical to know the dates, but there was still time, I did what they asked me, I sent an email with my information and in those months I was very pending.
One day I wrote to the teacher again to know about the dates and she told me that there was no more chance, that they had already called for the interviews and the classes would start in a few days, I was sad, but I could not throw myself to die, but I had to solve with what I had so I used some contacts that I still have and I managed to include me and another colleague at the last moment.
El tiempo de la licenciatura fue realmente traumático, allí perdí mucho tiempo y estoy a la espera de que me entreguen en estos próximos meses mi título de licenciada de forma oficial, luego de 13 años, toda una larga historia.
Pero con astucia y algo de suerte conseguí el cupo de la maestría ya en la recta final, tenía meses pendiente y contactando a la subdirectora del pedagógico para saber las fechas, pero aún faltaba tiempo, hice lo que me pidieron, envié un correo con mi información y en esos meses estuve muy pendiente.
Un día me da por escribirle a la profesora nuevamente para saber sobre las fechas y me dijo que ya no había chance, que ya habían llamado para las entrevistas y las clases iniciarían en pocos días, estaba triste, pero no podía echarme a morir, sino que debía resolver con lo que tenía así que utilicé unos contactos que aún conservo y logré que me incluyeran a mí y a otra colega ya en el último momento.
I was contacted by the professor in charge of the master's degree and he gave us the information yesterday and today we started the first class officially, it is a pleasure to return to the classroom and continue learning, I was surprised to see the curriculum of my professor today, because he is young and has three master's degrees, doctorate, graduated with honors, has several careers and I was dazzled.
I also met the rest of my classmates, at this point everything is different because they are no longer fellow journalists like me, on the contrary, they are all from different careers.
I was surrounded by English teachers, lawyers, accountants, chemists and professors of various subjects, I was really admired to see how much these people had achieved and that as adults they still marveled at the fact of continuing studying.
Me contactaron con el profesor encargado de la maestría y nos dio la información ayer y hoy iniciamos la primera clase de forma oficial, es un gusto volver a las aulas de clase y seguir aprendiendo, me sorprendió ver el curriculum de mi profesor de hoy, pues es joven y tiene tres maestrías, doctorado, graduado con honores, tiene varias carreras y yo estaba deslumbrada.
Yo tengo un Técnico Medio, un Técnico Superior y una Licenciatura y de verdad que estaba admirada escuchándolo, también conocí al resto de mis compañeros, en este punto todo es distinto porque ya no son colegas periodistas como yo, por el contrario, son todos de distintas carreras.
Estuve rodeada de profesoras de inglés, abogados, contadores, químicos y profesores de diversas materias, yo de verdad estaba admirada en ver cuanto habían logrado estas personas y que ya siendo adultos aún se maravillaban con el hecho de seguir estudiando.
I have always said that knowledge does not take up space, my next goal is to start and finish this master's degree and get a doctorate, it is easy to say, but I know it is not, it takes time and effort, sacrifices and dedication. I know I will have less time and with the house, the children and my other occupations I will be very busy, but nobody said it would be easy.
Today I saw my first introductory class of phonics and I am already preparing for the next one, I hope you can continue accompanying me and giving me your support in this journey that begins today, hand in hand with God and all the people who support me and believe in me, thank you for celebrating with me my achievements and let's keep growing.

Siempre he dicho que el conocimiento no ocupa espacio, mi meta próxima es iniciar y culminar esta maestría y formarme con un doctorado, se dice fácil, pero sé que no lo es, eso lleva tiempo y esfuerzo, sacrificios y dedicación. Sé que tendré menos tiempo y con la casa, los niños y mis demás ocupaciones estaré muy ocupada, pero nadie dijo que sería fácil.
Hoy vi mi primera clase introductoria de fonética y ya me preparo para la siguiente, espero puedan seguir acompañándome y dándome su apoyo en este recorrido que hoy comienza, de la mano de Dios y de todas las personas que me apoyan y creen en mí, gracias por celebrar conmigo mis logros y sigamos creciendo.
