"There's no job for Bob."
That was the sentence he heard almost everywhere he went.
Bob had graduated three years ago and was full of dreams. He imagined himself working in a big office, wearing neat suits and helping his family out of poverty. But life had other plans.
Every week, he printed copies of his CV and walked from one company to another. Sometimes, he spent his transport money just to attend interviews that never led anywhere.
"We're sorry, we need someone with experience."
"We'll get back to you."
"There are no vacancies at the moment."
The rejection kept coming.
One evening, Bob returned home and found his mother cooking with the little food they had left. She looked at him and asked softly, "Any good news?"
Bob shook his head.
For the first time in years, he broke down and cried.
The next morning, he sat outside their house watching people pass by. Then he noticed something. The woman who sold breakfast by the roadside had customers lining up.
An idea came to his mind.
With the little money he had saved, Bob bought bread, eggs, and a small stove. He started selling breakfast by the roadside.
At first, people laughed at him.
"A graduate selling bread and eggs?"
But Bob didn't give up.
Months later, his small business grew. Then he opened a tiny shop and hired two young men to help him.
One afternoon, a company that had rejected him called.
"Mr. Bob, we'd like to offer you a position."
Bob smiled and replied, "Thank you, but I already have a job."
There may have been no job for Bob, but Bob eventually created one for himself—and for others too.
