Happy Wednesday Walk everyone!

I decided to take another small walk today around my school area here in Awka. I did not plan it, I just carried my book and started walking.

First picture: I stopped near those big eucalyptus trees close to the road. You can see a small red car parked under the trees. The place was very quiet, only wind blowing the leaves. I have passed there many times but today I really stood and looked. The trees are so tall and they give plenty shade.

Second picture: I continued walking on the long tarred road. On my left is a bus stop with blue chairs and on my right is plenty green trees. The road was almost empty, only few students far far. Electric pole and wires on the left side. The sky was blue with small white clouds..........I was just enjoying the fresh air and the sound of my slippers on the pavement.

Third picture: I reached that bus stop again. If you look well, you will see many posters pasted there - DREAMS IN MOTION. Students used to sit there to wait for shuttle. The three blue chairs are still there. Behind it is a fence and a small field. I sat down small, dropped my book. It was calm.

Last picture: My book. I was holding my note - Directorate of Naval Education. I went with it because I was reading before. My yellow slippers and my jean trouser show small for the picture. I was walking on the concrete path with green grass by the side.

What I learned from this walk:

  • Nature in UNIZIK is underrated. We have many trees that make the school fine.
  • Sometimes walking alone helps you think better. I was stressed before, but after 15 minutes walk, my head was clear.
  • Small things matter - like the sound of trees, empty road, posters on the wall.

This was my Wednesday walk. Not far, just around school, but it gave me peace.

Where did you walk today?
