My Wednesday was very busy, which is why I didn't get the chance to go very far.First of all, I went to the bank to apply for a card, but I found out that my card transaction was not high enough to qualify for a business account.
I spent more than half of the day dealing with bank matters. When I returned, I was completely exhausted, and my eyes felt pain as if they had performed some task. I felt a strong desire to look at greenery and to see the life around me. So I went to my school, where i almost daily go, to look at the leaves and the growing plants.
I find equanimity by being among plants and trees. This is a new word I just learned today, which means mental peace.
These days I鈥檝e made it a practice to add on challenging GRE words into my daily life to enhance my vocabulary. I do this by associating specific words with particular people or things. So for this time I linked the word "equanimity" to this beautiful walk that provides me mental peace.
I come to this garden and plant many trees, mostly mango saplings, but they don't grow properly here because children often step on them and they due. This habit of children hinders their growth often so i often reorient them to other suitable places.
In the Urdu language, people who live in such tents are called khana-badosh (nomads). They never settle permanently in one place but spend their entire lives traveling from one location to another. They live their entire lives in this manner.
While out for a walk, I decided to visit my haveli or dera, as it is commonly called, where we keep our livestock, just to check if the animals were feeding properly. Since I was already out of the home and walking, I thought I might as well stop by and see them.
My walk ended when I encountered a dog with its mouth wide open. The sight terrified me, and I thought about walking back.
