🥇 Una vuelta por el renovado Muelle Internacional de Pampatar en la Isla de Margarita [ESP-ENG] by
Today I want to share with you a pleasant surprise I came across while exploring one of the most important areas of our beautiful Caribbean gem: “Pampatar.”
It all started because I had to take my sister to run some errands in Pampatar, and since I had some free time, I decided to take advantage of the trip to head to the coast—specifically, Pampatar Beach. I was really curious to see for myself how the reconstruction of the pier—which serves this important town—is coming along; it’s a project everyone on the island has been talking about lately.

🥈 Sharing beautiful places, with walks, together with the family. by
I know the city very well, but there are always new places to discover. It’s also a new or different experience to explore those same places, but with new people we’ve met who are also family. After a lovely invitation from my cousin to have lunch, the whole family went to the promenade by La Misericordia beach. It’s a beautiful spot with lots of gardens, various paths, cycle lanes and benches where you can sit for a while, chatting and gazing out at the sea. It’s in places like that that I take a deep breath and really enjoy myself; whenever I’m near the sea, it’s incredible for me, no matter how many times I’ve been there.

🥉 Saparmyrat Hajy metjidi. Gökdepe, Turkmenistan. by
The Battle of Gökdepe in January 1881 was the decisive, brutal climax of the Russian Empire's conquest where up to 14,500 defenders and civilians were slaughtered. The victory solidified Russian control over the region. The mosque was opened in 1995 and named in honour of President of Turkmenistan Saparmyrat Nyýazow's Hajj and features on 10,000 manat banknote; which no longer exists as due to a reshuffle of their currency would make its value at over £2k, imagine popping into the shop to buy a packet of crisps and a newspaper and expecting change.
