It's a whole different world after highschool in this part of the world. Our teachers had told us a lot of times and I never really took it into consideration.
I knew definitely that things would change but not so much. Everyone would be free from the chains and shackles of teachers. You would begin to be independent and try taking things more seriously certain times
I came across one of my teachers when I was heading home few days ago. I was to board the same tricycle with her. That respect for her was hitting hard. This was a teacher that I used to respect a lot. I respected all my teachers very much.
I got into the tricycle and greeted her. She asked questions. Where have you been? Why haven't you visited your highschool? You're looking all grown up! Answering those questions reduced the tension a bit.
I started asking my own questions and she answered them so jovially. It felt like she was very happy to see me. We were vibing a whole lot and it was very fun. We spoke about everything and anything, something I never tried doing in highschool.
We alighted at the same spot and we parted ways. I got back home and thought about the whole ride back home. It was fun!! Why didn't I ever try that in highschool? Can teachers be so jovial and free? It was indeed an interesting experience.
