মূল্যবোধের দুর্দিনে আজ গাহি যুগের গান
ঈর্ষা মোহের বেড়াজালে মনুষ্যত্ব ম্লান।
ন্যায্য নীতি উদারতা বড্ড বিরল আজ
দ্বন্দ্ব ফ্যাসাদ হট্টগোলে নাকাল এই সমাজ।
কথা কাজে অভেদ মানুষ নেহাত হাতেগোনা।নীতি বাক্যে হরহামেশাই মুখে তুলি ফেনা।সামনে ফলাই সাদর প্রীতি আড়ালে বিদ্বেষ ঈর্ষানলে চিত্ত জ্বলে মুখে বলি বেশ।
সঙ্গোপনে স্বস্তি খুঁজি পরের সর্বনাশে
মনুষ্যত্ব বিপন্ন আজ ভণ্ড সাধুর দেশে।
কারও ভালো দেখতে নারি চিত্ত বেসামাল
পরের দোষটা খুঁজে বেড়াই তিলকে করি তাল।
খাদ্যে মেশাই ভেজাল জিনিস অতি লাভের আশে বিবেকবোধের বেহাল দশায় মানুষ ঠকাই হেসে।আয়ের সঙ্গে ব্যয় মেলে না বিপুল অসংগতি বিধি বিরোধ উপার্জনে দেখাই তেলেসমাতি।
দু'নম্বরি ফন্দিফিকির সবখানে আজকাল
সর্বনাশা লোভ-লালসা বড্ড বেসামাল।
ন্যায়-অন্যায়ের বোধ ভাবনা কেমনে বলি বেশ?দুর্নীতি আজ লাগামবিহীন কোথায় যে এর শেষ!

In these trying times of values, I sing the song of the era, Humanity grows dim, trapped in the mesh of envy and illusion.Fairness, morality, and generosity are dynamic and rare today, This society is exhausted by conflicts, chaos, and uproar.
People whose words match their actions are very few indeed, Yet we constantly foam at the mouth spouting moral lectures.Openly we display warm affection, but behind back lies malice, The heart burns with the fire of jealousy, while the mouth says "well done."
Secretly we seek comfort in the ruin of others, Humanity is endangered today in this land of hypocrite saints.We cannot bear to see anyone's prosperity, our minds lose control, We hunt for others' faults and make a mountain out of a molehill.
We adulterate food with fake elements in hopes of excessive profit, With a collapsed conscience, we deceive people with a smile.Expenses do not match earnings, there is a massive inconsistency, We show magic tricks in making unlawful income.
Fraudulent tricks and scams are everywhere these days, Ruinous greed and lust are wildly out of hand.How do I say that the sense of right and wrong is doing well? Corruption is unrestrained today, where on earth is its end!
