The key to collecting is to pick something that you are passionate about owning. I've been collecting something my whole life, whether it was coins in the '70s, baseball cards in the '80s, Hot Wheels in the '90s, or gold and silver during Y2k to present.
About three years ago I started collecting colorized Mexico Libertads, here are a couple of the two ounce versions. Both are dated 2015 and are minted at the Mexico City mint.
I also collect the one ounce version of the colorized Libertads, here are five of my recent acquisitions.
I have also purchased other colorized coins and this Canadian Maple Leaf has a very unique design.

The amount of new Splinterlands players has really increased and so has the skill of these new players. Today my Life Splinter took a little longer for my five battle wins, so here are my reward cards.
So happy to pick up a couple of Epics and four Rare cards.
