Dolls and other oddities are displayed in stores selling esoteric products. I would not take an item like this home, I find it scary perhaps because it is believed that some are used to perform certain rituals with spirits.
In a place in Caracas there are some old dolls tied to some trees. The one at the back seems dark to me, as if symbolizing the suffering of the person who left it there wanting to forget a heartbreak. Perhaps at dawn it will come to life, seeking revenge.
An old house that looks abandoned but is inhabited, its gloomy windows make you think that a sinister face suddenly appears.
The balcony of an old museum, covered with a dark curtain, seems to keep so many stories that we may believe dead but we do not know if they somehow want to express that they are still alive.
The subway tunnel, full of dark waters harboring the lives of millions of rodents and surely many souls of beings who have perished by being run over, perhaps their spirits come out at dawn to unburden such a tragic death.
Old chairs in the lonely corner of a museum, makes me feel some ghostly presences that don't want you to sit on them, or look at them. I hope they were not bothered by the photograph.
A staircase to a dark abandoned basement. It seems that when you get to the bottom they will grab your feet tightly and make you fall.
A child-sized mannequin scares me, perhaps because it's easy to associate with those movies where spirits possess dolls. Also, if they put a scary wig on him and his eyes are so piercing that it seems they can see, even more scary.
